Pumpkin's Preloved started with a pile of tiny clothes and a bit of a heavy heart.

One minute I was dressing my baby in the sweetest little rompers and cardigans. The next, I was folding them away - outgrown, barely worn, still gorgeous.

It goes so fast, doesn't it?

Every growth spurt meant another size up, another wardrobe refresh, another stack of beautiful little things with so much life left in them. And while motherhood was teaching me to slow down and soak it all in, the constant cycle of buying new felt anything but slow.

It started to feel a bit much.

The cost. The waste. The thought of all these lovely tiny clothes ending up in landfill here in Aotearoa.

I spent way too many hours trawling through marketplace listings and op shops, hoping to find those same sweet, well-made pieces secondhand. And while there were definitely gems to be found, it was often a lot of effort, inconsistent quality, worn-out items, styles that just didn't feel special anymore.

I realised the problem wasn't secondhand clothing.

It was that there wasn't a nice place to find it.

So I made one.

Pumpkin's Preloved is a carefully curated collection of baby and kids' clothing, picked for quality, comfort, and that little bit of charm. Pieces for playground mornings, café dates, and slow afternoons at home.

We think tiny wardrobes don't need to be endless to be special.

We think small clothes deserve more than one chapter.

And we think choosing preloved is one of the loveliest things you can do, for your kid, and for the world they're growing up in.
